Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has substantial social media presence
Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile cheerleaders as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, operates numerous golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically told me to go out there and have fun," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, following whatever happens."
Kai will face several the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, especially reaching youth audiences.
Kai has millions of followers and has started an exclusive fashion and living label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
